What Led Me To Adoption
I was first introduced to the option of adoption after I woke up one day and motherhood the way I imagined was not an option. I faced challenges with fibroids that later resulted in infertility. I was devastated and could not believe I would not be able to birth my own child. After much prayer and tests, I surrendered to whatever God’s will was to be as long as I was a mother to a child. I have godchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends with children whom I play a supportive role in their lives; however, my desire to be a mother never changed. I made a decision to say yes to adoption, and here I am.
