dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering our family to raise and parent your child. We understand the significance of the decision you are about to make and recognize how brave you are for making it.

Our home is based on love that extends beyond blood relation and is one that always has a seat at the table for new friends. We find joy in the simple things and are grateful for once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. We look forward to welcoming your child into our home, hearts, and lives to ultimately support him or her in the best way possible, to give them everything we can to help them become the person they are meant to be, and to share and help develop the gifts and talents they are born with as well as those they will discover along the way.

By choosing us, you will be choosing to give your child a beautiful life full of laughter and love, music, activities, and adventure with a family that focuses on the beauty and simplicity of quality time together, support for one another, and ultimately a commitment to doing everything we can to make their dreams come true. You and your precious gift will be honored and cherished, and you will never be forgotten.

With love and gratitude,

About Us

We absolutely love life together! We are a family of three humans and two fur babies and enjoy being outside as much as possible. We are a loving couple who adores kids and prioritizes spending time with family and friends. We are very much a yin and yang couple. As individuals, we are very different in many ways, but at the core, we align and love sharing life and building dreams together. We joke that Amy is the “governor” meeting and welcoming people, quickly turning strangers into friends, and bringing joy (and always lots of snacks) to any occasion. Stacy, with her huge smile and welcoming heart, enjoys people and energizes herself through playing the piano and guitar, meditation, and stand-up paddleboarding. Amy flourishes in her sales job, where she is able to connect with others, and Stacy enjoys her strategic role in product management.

Our Home & Pets

We are in love with our home and kid-filled, park-like neighborhood. Children ride their bikes to school, and families enjoy golf cart rides to the park, pool, and local town to enjoy our favorite ice cream shop, toy store, and juice bar. We love playing soccer, cornhole, and more in our huge yard and love that kids flow from one yard to another playing tag, football, and more. Babies are abundant in our neighborhood and so is the support of our neighbors. Cabo and Bentley love their walks as well as running around the backyard. Perfect endings to the day are made by cuddling up on the couch and catching one of our favorite movies like Sing, Cheaper by the Dozen, or Yes Day.

Our Extended Family

We are so blessed by our extended family. We love being together and are grateful to have grandparents on both sides as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins to create adventures and memories with. In our family, all birthdays are holidays, which usually involve overnight stays, Nonna’s famous cheeseball, smores, games, and more.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are huge multi-day celebrations, and an annual family reunion brings people together to celebrate with a day of reconnecting, dancing, eating, and swimming. One of our favorite traditions has been named “The Turkey Bowl,” a family football game that takes place the day after Thanksgiving. Seeing the joy in the kids' faces as they score a touchdown or seeing Grandpa as the “official” is definitely a highlight of the year. Gramps’ good nature and stories coupled with Grams putting on a costume or two throughout the year (including the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus) adds to the joy.

It is a blessing to watch the various likes and preferences of many people in a vibrant family come together to create something magical and wonderful in an expanded circle of unconditional love. They fully support our adoption and say the more, the merrier!

What Led Us To Adoption

We recognize we have more love to give and have chosen adoption as the path to grow our family. Family is made by love, commitment, and dedication to one another. We love the thought of helping honor a birthmother while providing a life for a child or children they may not have otherwise had. Amy’s father adopted her half-brothers and sister when their father unexpectedly passed and he married their mother. We have many close friends who have either adopted, fostered, or were adopted, and we know what a blessing adoption can be to both the child, the parents, and the birthmother. We look forward to growing our family and circle of love through adoption.
