dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for considering us to parent your child and to provide a loving, supportive, and fun home for your baby. While we may not fully understand the challenges you are facing, please know we are here offering our support. We promise to love, cherish, and protect your child every second of every day. It is our promise that your child will receive a top education at a nationally recognized school district and will be given the freedom and motivation to follow their dreams. We believe that hobbies and activities like
sports are important. We will offer many experiences so your child can discover what he/she enjoys: soccer, basketball, swimming, dance, tumbling, golf, etc. We believe in a good balance between work and play.

On a typical Sunday morning, you can expect us to be making breakfast together as a family followed by attending Church. Our family prioritizes healthy eating, but we don’t shy away from the occasional bike ride to the local ice cream shop.
Every year we travel to visit family, where we enjoy the beach, pool, boating, shopping, restaurants, and cousin-time. During the winter months, you can find our family skiing, sledding, and roasting marshmallows over a bonfire. Our house backs up to beautiful woods where we spend time exploring.

We represent love, respect, happiness, gratefulness, and having fun. We are committed to raising our next child to bring kindness into the world. We can’t be any more excited to expand our family and welcome your child into our home. Thank you for your courage and selflessness.

About Us

We are the type of couple that waves hello to our neighbors, opens the doors for others, cares for those around us, and strive to bring joy into the world. We enjoy being social and meeting new people. We introduce ourselves to others with a smile and are always willing to lend a helping hand. We have high expectations for our daughter and will have the same expectations for your child. We teach her to be polite, kind and independent. We also show her how to be a good student and emphasize that hard work gets results. Because we hold her to these expectations, she is ambitious and confident. We will teach your child in the same way and will love and guide them. We both have a college degree and value education. We currently work from home in sales and account management. Since we are both in a similar role, we support one another and help each other to find success. We are open to trying new adventures and experiences. We love to be outside, whether by biking, boating, hiking, skiing or sledding. We prioritize a strong marriage, and understand that it’s pivotal for a happy family.

Our Home

We live in a safe and beautiful neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. The neighborhood is bustling with families and kids. There are basketball hoops at almost every house with kids running around playing sports. We have a playground down the street where we take family walks to play at often. Our home is located in a nationally recognized school district. We’re close to a downtown filled with art exhibits, children’s museums, parks, zoos, festivals, and sports arenas. Our city has been named one of the top places to live in the country for high quality of life. Our home is equipped with plenty of space and a dedicated play room that is ready for a new baby. It is a home that is meant for kids, birthday parties, and large gatherings.

Our Extended Family

We both have siblings who are married and have young children, so there is a lot of fun time spent with family in Florida, Illinois, and Michigan. Our daughter, Vivian, absolutely loves her cousin-time. We enjoy vacationing with our families, where we will go swimming, play sports, dance, fish, go on boat rides, bike, and explore new places. We spend every holiday with extended family as well. Christmas consists of a fun morning opening gifts from Santa in our pajamas. On Easter, the Easter bunny pays us a visit with baskets full of goodies, and the kids go on an Easter egg hunt. On Halloween, our neighborhood is filled with kids running all around trick-or-treating. Thanksgiving is spent at Grandma and Grandma’s with a full table. On the Fourth of July you’ll find us on a boat during the day and watching fireworks at night at David’s sister’s house, where Vivian plays with her cousins all day long. We always leave family time with our hearts and bellies full and our cheeks hurting from all of the laughter. The memories will last a lifetime.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are over the moon about expanding our family and providing a supporting, caring, protective, and loving home for a baby. We have met several couples who have adopted, and they have all expressed the love and joy adopting a child brings to the family. One couple described it as the “most rewarding experience life has to offer.” We can’t wait to experience this same feeling too and give our daughter the baby brother or sister she has been asking for!
