About Us

We are Randy and Taylor. We met online in 2018 and instantly connected. Our connection was so strong that we decided to meet in person after just a day of talking. That first date marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together, leading us to the day we joyfully exchanged vows in 2021. Randy is a compassionate and dedicated medical assistant working at a children’s hospital. Taylor works as a budget analyst at a veterans research center, where she combines her analytical skills with a desire to help people. In our daily lives, we enjoy simple moments together. We love either venturing out to a restaurant or staying in and preparing a delicious meal together. Afterward, we get into our cozy pajamas, cuddle up on the couch, and enjoy a movie night with our two beloved dogs, Oliver and Parker.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We bought our current home in 2021. It is a three-bedroom home located in South Texas and in a friendly and welcoming neighborhood. We love taking walks in the nearby parks, basking in the Texan sunshine. The school district in our area is highly regarded, providing exceptional educational opportunities for children. We live by numerous museums, parks, and attractions. Our two adorable dogs, Parker and Oliver, are integral members of our family. Oliver was adopted as a puppy and has a playful spirit that tires him out halfway through the day. Parker was found by Taylor’s sister at a nearby store. She has a gentle nature and is the best cuddler. They bring endless joy and unconditional love into our home.

Our Family & Friends

Taylor, as a middle child, grew up with the love and support of her two wonderful sisters.Their parents have been a source of guidance in their lives, eagerly awaiting the day they become grandparents. Randy and his sister were lovingly adopted by their grandparents, who provided them with a nurturing home. While Randy’s grandparents have since passed on, he has the opportunity to build relationships with his two half-siblings from his mother’s side.

Our family cherishes the opportunity to embark on exciting vacations together, creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Even if it’s a local getaway, we make it a priority to set aside dedicated time for family travel at least once a year as we believe in the power of shared experiences and the joy of discovering new places together.

Holidays and birthdays are always celebrated with great enthusiasm, bringing our extended family together. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins play an integral role in our lives, and we treasure the close relationships we have built with them. These special occasions are filled with laughter, love, and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

What Led Us To Adoption

Our decision to adopt was born out of a deep desire to become parents and to make a difference in a child's life. We believe love knows no boundaries and that family is defined by love, not by blood. We are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where a child can flourish surrounded by endless love, guidance, and opportunities. Taylor’s two cousins who were adopted have enriched our lives in immeasurable ways. Seeing their happiness and the love they receive from their adoptive parents fills our hearts with hope and reaffirms our conviction to embark on this incredible journey.
