dear expectant mother

We would first like to recognize your courage and selflessness for considering adoption, even though we cannot begin to comprehend what you are going through. We respect your decision because your situation is special and personal. We are extremely grateful that you are considering our family, and above all, we want you to know you are not alone. We can only imagine the range of feelings you are going through right now. We respect your tremendous strength and sacrifice, and we know this choice cannot be simple. We appreciate the chance to get to know you and help you get through this difficult time.

We want to reassure you that we will provide a genuinely loving, caring, and supportive atmosphere surrounded by family and close friends since we recognize how personal and challenging the decision to pick an adoptive family can be. We will make sure your child is taken care of, educated, well traveled, and, most importantly, surrounded by love, laughter, and fun. If you were to select and entrust our family with the amazing gift of adoption, we would be incredibly honored.

Your child will be raised in a setting where they can learn from their mistakes and try new things till they discover their passions. We are excited to accompany you through this process, to welcome your baby into our house, and to do our best to make you feel at ease. We appreciate your consideration.

We would first like to recognize your courage and selflessness for considering adoption, even though we cannot begin to comprehend what you are going through.

About Us

We are a couple who cherishes family, friends, travel, and new experiences. Humor and support form the foundation of our relationship. We love traveling together, especially visiting orchards in the fall and beaches whenever we can. We’ve explored many countries as a couple and have numerous trips planned for the future. We have a special love for Latin America as TcKoy has spent a considerable amount of time in the past teaching and working throughout the region and also speaks Spanish. Granville is a software engineer (programmer) who spends his free time either tinkering with technology or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. TcKoy is a solutions engineer for a major tech company and an avid crafter. In her spare time, she creates cups, shirts, coasters, and almost anything you can imagine in her crafting studio. She is also a lover of music of all genres. We are both privileged to have careers that allow us a great work/life balance.

Our Home

We live in a colonial-style home with a wrap-around porch. The house is located in a cul-de-sac inside a nice subdivision next to the local elementary school. All of the K-12 schools are highly rated and within a half mile of our house. We have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to raise a growing child in a safe and loving environment. There are also many large and small parks and playgrounds nearby as well as major league sports teams and performing arts theaters a short drive away.

Our Extended Family

Granville was raised as a military kid and grew up in the United States and Germany. His mother is originally from Jamaica, and his father is originally from Barbados. He has two older sisters and many nieces and nephews. His childhood summers were spent between both islands visiting extended family and enjoying Caribbean food. Every year his family would go to watch The Nutcracker for Christmas, and this is still one of his fondest childhood memories.

TcKoy's family is from Florida and North Carolina, but she grew up in Georgia. She has an older brother and many cousins. We’re lucky that now TcKoy’s parents live only nine minutes away. TcKoy’s family has always enjoyed traveling and learning about new cultures. She is blessed to still travel with her parents.

We often get together with our extended family to celebrate holidays and special occasions or to just play games together. As we are both the youngest in our families, our new baby would be the youngest member and truly doted on!

What Led Us To Adoption

Before we met, we both wanted to consider adoption independently. We discussed it at length throughout the dating phase and locked in the decision during our engagement months. We have always discussed starting a family. TcKoy has adopted family members as well as adopted friends, so we've always thought of adoption as an amazing option and a fantastic way to start a family! We have witnessed firsthand the joy and love that adoption offers, and we are aware of the challenges it presents. We're excited to expand our family and offer a fun, caring, and encouraging environment. We hope our lifelong desire of having children will come true.
