dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our profile. We know this has to be one of the most difficult decisions you have had to face, and we are grateful to you for taking the time to look at our profile. We are aware that you are probably facing this decision with a heavy heart, so we thank you for the opportunity to possibly grow our family. We are both very excited to build our family and pray that you consider us.

For us, the adoption process was a difficult decision, but we are over the moon with excitement for this opportunity. We know that if you choose us as your baby's parents, there will be nothing but love for the child, and he or she will have a big, loving family that will cherish him or her. The love our child will have goes above and beyond the love the two of us will give him or her. Bradley's sisters and parents are over-the-moon excited for our opportunity, and Ted's sister, parents, niece, and nephew are as well.

Thank you for your time and thank you again,
Ted and Bradley

About Us

We met in 2020 just as COVID hit. Ted was on Facebook one day and noticed a friend suggestion who happened to be Bradley. We had a lot of mutual friends, so he sent him a friend request. We started talking that day, talking turned into a few dates, and a few dates turned into Bradley moving in with Ted. We got married on October 1, 2022. We are very much outdoor enthusiasts. We enjoy going camping, kayaking, fishing, hanging out with family out by the pool, or just working in the yard or garden. We live on five acres, so there's always plenty to do outside. We both also enjoy just going on a long walk or hiking with family or friends. We both have careers we absolutely love; Bradley works in healthcare in a group home, and Ted works on the river as a riverboat captain.

Our Home & Pets

We live out in rural Missouri and have several neighbors within a mile of us. We live in a three-bedroom, two-bath home on five acres of land. The school district we live in is a top-rated district for our area, excelling in baseball and football; they also have an excellent girls softball program! Our district would be a great school district for a little girl or boy. We live on five acres, so we have some chickens we have raised and also have three family dogs.

Our Extended Family

We both have very large families. We have three sisters, and all of our parents are still with us. We both have many aunts and uncles and can’t even begin to count how many cousins we have. There are a lot! Some of our favorite family times are hanging out with our sisters and their kids having a BBQ or just having a nice, relaxing day in the pool with them.

Some of our favorite traditions with our families are the holidays and spending the day with them. Family time is the most important thing to both of us, and our families mean the world to us. One of the favorit things we like doing with our sisters is family game night on Sundays. The sisters, their husbands, and the kids get together and play board games for hours.

We also have several close friends who have become family to us. There is one special friend (Tammy) who has definitely become part of the family and is like a sister to both of us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been married going on two years now, and we have weighed our options: surrogacy or adoption. We have decided to explore adoption because we believe this option is more fitting for us both. We both believe there is a child out there for us who will need the love and support we are wanting to give as a new member of our family. We have several friends and family members who have been adopted and are adoptive parents, and their stories move us both.
