dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

First off, thank you so much for even considering us. It is truly a blessing you are even looking at our profile. Life has a funny way of connecting people. We hope you are reading this and can feel each and every one of our emotions pouring out. In our hearts, we believe we will be amazing parents. We have so much to offer and so much love to give. We offer your baby a comfortable, warm, and supportive environment. We also offer culture, diversity, and a focus on education. We feel we can offer your baby the best environment.

In our home, your baby will be spoiled by our large family and will never be without support and love. During the holidays, we love the zoo lights, decorating, opening gifts, and spending the day with family. Our Frenchies, Freddie and Phoebe, like participating too! Hopefully you feel your baby will have lots of fun being involved in our family traditions. Your baby will be the center of our universe.

We have excellent jobs with security, a cozy home in a quality neighborhood, and a financial, emotional, and social support system that is unmatched. We hope you sense our enthusiasm and excitement to become parents. We want to love and care for your baby unconditionally. We believe your consideration of us as a potential family is a blessing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Love and care,
T.J. and Omar

About Us

T.J. is in his ninth year of teaching health and physical education, while Omar came to the United States from Egypt, earned his second bachelor’s degree, and is now a registered pharmacist. Since we’ve been together, we have struggled and have thrived, but through everything, we’ve had each other. We are best friends who trust and care for each other. It has always been in our plans to become parents. We were married in June 2018, bought our first home in February of 2019, and grew our family by two by adding two fur babies to our family. We have been saving for a really long time to make sure we could support a baby and go through the adoption process. There is nothing more we could want than adding a child to our little family.

Our Home & Pets

One of the best places in our home is the baby’s room. It’s very large with lots of space for play. There is a partially finished basement where your baby can play with toys, the dogs, or us. We have a private patio area where we can enjoy the weather with our pets, Freddie and Phoebe. There is also a large grassy area in the front with ample room to play catch or tag. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Everyone is always looking out for each other. The school district we live in is very diverse with many different kinds of people. Our community offers many different kinds of youth recreational sports and activities as well.

Our Extended Family

T.J.’s parents have been married for 30 years and live very close to us. T.J. has two siblings, a sister and a brother. His sister and her husband have two children. T.J.’s parents love the idea of us having a baby, and his mom cried when we told her.

Omar’s parents and sisters all live in Egypt. They are not super supportive of our relationship due to their religious beliefs. We do hold out hope that someday they will come around and be involved. Although they are not involved, his uncle and aunt have been very supportive of us the entire time.

Some traditions we enjoy are celebrating our birthdays and our dogs’ birthdays by having cake for us and dog cookies for Freddie and Phoebe. Christmastime is probably our favorite time of the year. We decorate the house and tree, bake cookies, and listen to Christmas music. Christmas morning we get up early and open gifts together. Then we go to T.J.’s parents’ for breakfast and gifts. It is a genuinely happy time for us.

What Led Us To Adoption

What made adoption a good option for us is the fact that we have seen friends adopt three times. We saw how exciting the process is and how happy they were each time. We desire that same feeling. We want to hold your baby for the first time, look into those eyes, and tell him or her, “Hi, we’re your daddy and papa. We are going to protect you, support you, and love you to the moon and back.” Adoption gives us hope that we will become parents because companies like LifeLong exist and mothers like you trust in us and support couples like us to raise your baby in a loving home.
