Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State We live in: Texas

dear expectant mother

We believe God has brought you into our lives for a reason and vice versa. The decision you are making, we’re sure, is one of the most difficult decisions you will ever have to make, and we know it isn’t easy. You are being faced with difficulties we will never truly comprehend, but if there’s anything you can learn from us, it’s how much of a blessing we see you as. We have struggled for years with infertility, and it has been incredibly hard; the longing we have for a baby is insurmountable. Through thoughts and prayers, God has led us to adoption, and we’re so thankful our paths have crossed. We have friends who have adopted their children or are adopted themselves, and we constantly see the positive impact it has had on their lives.

If chosen, we can guarantee you that the love we will have for this baby will be limitless. The decision you are making is the blessing we’ve been waiting, praying, and hoping for. We promise to give them the best opportunities and foundation to grow and develop into a wonderful human.

We have friends who have adopted their children or are adopted themselves, and we constantly see the positive impact it has had on their lives.

About Us

Hey, y’all! We’re Tori and Paul! We met in the fall of 2016, married in the fall of 2017, and feel our love growing for one other every year. We met working on a music theater production of Guys and Dolls. Paul is a team lead for machine operators at a steel company, and Tori manages a commission team for a telecom company and also has a home-based bakery on the side. Together we enjoy Barnes & Noble outings, new restaurants, theater and film, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Whether we are at home enjoying a quiet night or at one of our favorite places (Disney!), we are always laughing and having a wonderful time. Even though life can be hard, with curve balls thrown, we know the strength we have together as a couple is the foundation for our happiness. Our love is one for the ages, and we cannot wait to build our family.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is located in a smaller city in West Texas, with friendly neighbors, quiet surroundings, and great school systems; we’re close to the junior high and high school we hope to send our child(ren) to. It is a city that is constantly growing but maintains its smaller feel, which we love. We can get almost anywhere in town within 15 minutes! Inside the house, we have two dogs: Pip (a Jack Russell/dachshund mix), who is 12 years old, and Daisy (a Rhodesian/Labrador mix), who is four. They are friendly and snuggly dogs that we absolutely adore. We enjoy family walks together and the occasional outing to a park or for an ice cream.

Our Extended Family

Paul, along with his sister, is part of a very large family. His mom is one of eleven, and his dad is one of six. This, of course, means that there are lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. His entire life was spent being around family, and despite the family’s size, they are very close. Paul also has close friends he considers family whom he has known since elementary school. He loves his family and friends tremendously and prides himself on the close relationships he has.

Tori is part of a somewhat smaller family. Her mom is one of six, her dad is one of three, and she has no biological siblings but a fair number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her father remarried in 2015, giving her a bonus mom and three step-siblings. Tori also has godparents, a god-sister, and a god-brother she holds very near. In her early twenties, she nannied for a special family and has kept a close bond to them. Those kids, along with many others, are considered her nieces and nephews. She has very close friends from junior high and college who are her chosen family.

Our baby will be surrounded by love.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been trying to conceive for five and half years. In 2022 we embarked on a round of IVF that ultimately resulted in a failed transfer of our one and only embryo. From the beginning, we knew adoption would eventually be in the cards for us as we felt called to it. God granted us the sign that it was time to embark on the adoption journey in March 2024. Many of our family members and friends have either adopted or are adopted, and it has blessed their lives in ways no one can imagine. It’s been incredible having our family and friends stand by our sides and support us in this journey.
