dear expectant mother

We cannot begin to understand the emotions you must be feeling contemplating placing your baby for adoption, and we want you to know we empathize deeply with what you're going through. The weight of this decision is not lost on us, and we want you to feel supported and understood every step of the way. If you choose us to be the parents of your baby, please know we will cherish and nurture them with unwavering love and dedication.

From the beginning of our relationship, we've discussed parenthood as a central part of our future. Your decision to entrust us with your child would be profoundly meaningful, allowing us to expand our family and continue cherished traditions. We eagerly await the opportunity to welcome a child into our home and provide them with love and affection from us and our extended family. If given the privilege of raising your child, they would grow up with two loving fathers committed to their well-being and happiness.

If you’re comfortable with your child growing up in a home filled with dad jokes and Boston sports fandom and surrounded by a warm, loving family, then we believe we could provide the supportive and nurturing environment your child deserves. Thank you for considering us as parents for your child. Your trust and consideration mean everything to us.

With love,
Torry & Jared

About Us

Hi! We’re Torry and Jared! We initially crossed paths through mutual friends while Torry was completing his bachelor’s degree in Vermont. Despite our journey taking us across the country and back, we've happily settled in our beloved Rhode Island. Torry is living out his childhood dream as a meteorologist, while Jared is dedicated to assisting disabled veterans and serving in the military. In the summer of 2023, after a decade together, we joyfully exchanged vows in a picturesque ceremony along Rhode Island's stunning coastline, surrounded by cherished family and friends. Our shared passions include traveling, discovering new culinary delights, indulging in local wines, and, above all, cherishing moments with loved ones. We're thrilled at the prospect of embarking on the adoption journey and expanding our family.

Our Home

We reside in a quiet town in Rhode Island, located between Boston and Providence. Our home, nestled in a family-friendly neighborhood, features four bedrooms and a large, fenced-in backyard. Our town boasts top-rated schools and offers charming attractions, including hiking trails and music and cultural events at the neighboring park. One perk is that we are near family-run farms that provide dining and seasonal fun, like pumpkin picking with apple cider and selecting a Christmas tree. Rhode Island's coastline offers wonderful beaches just a short drive from our home. While we recently lost our beloved English bulldog, Frank, we look forward to welcoming another furry friend in the future so our future child can experience the loving bond between a child and a pet.

Our Extended Family

We are extremely blessed to be surrounded by both of our families, who are no more than a short car ride away and would take full advantage of stopping by to spend time with our little one. Jared is from a smaller family, the youngest of two, while Torry, the oldest of six, comes from a large, blended family.

We are excited about the chance to share our traditions and enjoy family gatherings with our child, like renting a beach house during the summer with a number of Torry’s aunts, uncles, and cousins (along with their children) or cutting down our own Christmas tree at a local farm and making our house festive for our annual Christmas Eve party. Not to be forgotten is one of our favorites: participating in the annual Fourth of July boat parade out on the lake, capped off with fireworks. In a more traditional vein, we also love that Torry’s family still has Sunday gatherings every week, which we take full advantage of. While not a tradition, we love to go out to eat with Jared’s parents every other Friday, when our schedule allows.

What Led Us To Adoption

Even before meeting, we shared a vision of becoming fathers. On our first date, we openly discussed our future, which included parenthood. Recognizing the challenges of the journey ahead, we focused on achieving financial stability together first. Thankfully, both of us now have fulfilling careers that would support a child without financial concerns. We’re grateful for our supportive circle of family and friends, who eagerly anticipate our soon-to-be titles of Dad and Poppa. We were drawn to the prospect of adoption as we believe that there are children out there who would benefit from our love and would provide the missing piece in our lives.
