dear expectant mother

We know you are making quite possibly the most difficult decision of your life right now. You gave this child life, and now you are doing the most selfless act of finding the right home to love your baby. We sympathize greatly with the emotional rollercoaster you are going through in finding what feels like a perfect fit.

Please know if given the honor of being chosen, you can rest assured your child will be loved beyond words. Our home is filled with lots of hugs, kisses, laughter, fun, and imagination. All you have to do is look at our daughter to see how much we love being parents. We’ve enjoyed every aspect of parenting. Our daughter is happy, smart, kind, and full of imagination. Parenting is our most important job and the most rewarding. We want our daughter to experience the joy of having a sibling as we did growing up.

Someone once told us, “It doesn’t matter how you become a parent. What matters is that you are a great parent once they are yours.” We have an empty nursery waiting for a baby to fill it and a future filled with lots of love for the child we never stopped hoping for!

Please know if given the honor of being chosen, you can rest assured your child will be loved beyond words.

About Us

We met at a holiday party over 12 years ago and instantly sparked a connection through shared interests in movies, music, and enjoying life to the fullest. We married in 2013 and welcomed our beautiful daughter, Ella, into our lives in 2017. Traci is a graphic designer who manages to balance her full-time job and freelance work for local charities and other organizations. Creative, caring, and generous, Traci is always coming up with new ideas to spread cheer and ensure lasting memories can be had by all. Eric is a consultant with an accounting and advisory firm. Funny, witty, and adventurous, Eric is never one to pass up a challenge or an opportunity to make us smile. We are both very family oriented and enjoy celebrating holidays, birthdays, and other events with family members local and afar.

Our Home & Pets

We live in the suburbs of a large city with access to amazing schools, parks, forest preserves, and other family-friendly entertainment. Our two-story home is nestled in a quiet and beautiful tree-lined neighborhood with a large fenced-in yard and playground as well as a fully finished basement. We have become very close friends with families on our street, and all of the children in the neighborhood are similar in age, which has made for very special memories through the years. We have two incredibly loved and spoiled rescue pets. Ruby, a three-year-old Lab mix, is a loving and gentle dog who has yet to meet anyone she does not immediately adore. Floyd, a one-year-old kitten, is an affectionate and playful cat who is often found playing with Ruby or cuddling.

Our Extended Family

Traci is the middle child with two sisters, and Eric is the middle child with two brothers. Both of us grew up in the same town, and our parents still live in the area, about ten to fifteen minutes away. Traci’s sisters each live close by, and her younger sister is happily married with three biracial sons who adore Ella immensely. Eric’s older brother lives in Maryland with his wife and four children. Eric’s younger brother and his husband live in Texas with two dogs, three cats, and countless aquatic animals.

Our extended families remain close knit and extend from California and Washington all the way through Tennessee, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and Belize. Family traditions include vacations to places near and far,as well as plenty of joyous and festive holiday celebrations with loved ones. We are so fortunate to have such a loving, happy, and accepting family to support us on this incredible journey with you.

What Led Us To Adoption

While our path to becoming parents had its ups and downs as a result of fertility issues, we were blessed with our daughter, Ella, in 2017 and have never given up hope of welcoming another child into our loving family. We knew adoption would be an incredible opportunity to fulfill our dreams and allow Ella to love a sibling unconditionally. Both of our families have seen firsthand the rewarding and incredible gift of adoption, with one uncle and four cousins, all of whom are so loved and contribute greatly to the fabric of our family. We’ve never given up hope that our miracle is out there, and welcoming your baby into our family would fill our hearts completely.
