dear expectant mother

You are so precious. I can’t imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. I am so grateful you took the time to look at my profile. Thank you for your willingness to share the joy of a child with someone.

Should you decide I am the right choice for you and your baby, I want to give you some assurance. I will make sure your baby has every need met. I will provide them with a safe, secure, stable home. I guarantee they will have an enriching environment, and I will support any endeavors they may have. I will offer them encouragement when needed. They will be cherished, not only by me but my whole family. Above all else, I will love your baby. I will love them even as they grow older and make a life for themselves one day. And I will always speak highly of you, honoring your love for your child.

My heart longs to be a mother. Because of this courageous decision you’re making, you are giving someone like me a miraculous gift. I can’t thank you enough for considering me to parent your child. I am humbled by such an incredible opportunity. You are in my thoughts and prayers, dear mother. May God surround you with wisdom and peace at this time and always.

About Me

I am a sweet, gentle veterinarian living in the Pacific Northwest. I was born and raised here and still call the area home. I grew up in a Christian family, and we went to church every Sunday. I still remain strong in my faith today. Barry, my little dog, and I enjoy going on adventures, and I also take him to work with me. In my spare time, if I’m not walking Barry, I’m running, cooking, reading, or growing flowers. My family is big and close knit. We enjoy spending time together. My dad and I have supported each other through many races, including marathons and ultra-marathons. We also like to take my parents’ horses trail riding in the local state park. Yes, Barry goes along for the ride.

My Home & Pets

I live in a moderate-sized city. My bungalow house is located in a well-established, quiet neighborhood with tree-lined streets. The backyard has a privacy fence. Best of all, there’s enough room to set up a bouncy house. My family did that last summer. There are nearby parks, playgrounds with splash pads, and even a neighborhood swimming pool complete with waterslides. The local library was just rebuilt and is just a few blocks from my house. All of the schools are excellent and within walking distance. I can’t forget to mention that my four-legged roommate adores kids, along with everyone else he meets.

My Extended Family

I am the oldest of six kids. We’re very spread apart in age. My little brother is the youngest, and he’s only fifteen. Because I was already an adult when the last three came into the family, I’ve taken each of them on individual vacations with me over the years. That’s been a lot of fun. It’s just great getting to spend time with them. A couple of my siblings have kids, and it’s been such a wonderful experience getting to be an aunt. I have good relationships with all my siblings and their kids. In fact, I work with the sister closest in age to me. She’s a veterinarian too.

My parents live only ten minutes from my house, and I love it. I visit them all the time. We all congregate at my parents’ house for holidays and celebrations. My favorite tradition, though, comes every summer. We caravan to the nearby amusement park as a family and spend the entire day there. The kids have a blast! Actually, the adults do too.

What Led Me To Adoption

I have always had a profound affection for children. There’s nothing more precious in this world. My parents adopted four of my siblings through the foster care system. I was able to experience the adoption process as a child and young woman. All of these children are such a blessing to my family. What an amazing gift. I started realizing about a year ago that I was longing to have a child of my own. As a single woman, I really hadn’t thought of the possibility before. After a lot of time in prayer and contemplation, I am certain this is the right path for me.
