dear expectant mother

First, I want to express how deeply grateful I am for the incredible strength and love you are showing by looking into the possibility of adoption. Though I cannot genuinely relate, I have no doubt that considering placing your child for adoption is not an easy decision, and I want you to know I respect and honor your courage. The love you have for your baby is clear, and I truly admire the compassion you are demonstrating in wanting to provide your child with the very best future.

As someone who was adopted and has adopted siblings, I know firsthand how powerful and life changing adoption can be. It’s an act of love that can give a child the opportunity to grow up in a family filled with care, support, and endless possibilities. I promise that if you choose me, I will provide your child with a loving home filled with warmth, laughter, kindness, and stability. Opportunities for your child to explore their individual interests, hobbies, and passions will always be honored, and I will take great pride in watching them become who they are destined to be. Most importantly, your baby will always know how much they are loved by both you and by me.

Thank you for your strength and courage, and thank you for considering me as a potential fit for the child you clearly love very much. I hope we can embark on this journey together and provide your baby with a future filled with love and happiness.

The love you have for your baby is clear, and I truly admire the compassion you are demonstrating in wanting to provide your child with the very best future.

About Me

I’m fun and outgoing and always aim to make those around me laugh and smile. One of my favorite things is hosting friends for home-cooked meals, where we can catch up and share what’s happening in our lives. My friends would describe me as caring, trustworthy, and sometimes a little spontaneous. I’m the one who signs up for a half-marathon on a whim and spends months training for it! I love traveling, especially to places with stunning architecture or beautiful nature. Whether it's strolling through a European city or relaxing on a beach with loved ones, I cherish making memories. While I’m outgoing with friends and family, my everyday life is more low-key. After work, there’s nothing better than coming home to my sanctuary, spending time with my cats, and unwinding with a good book in the comfort of my cozy home.

My Home & Pets

I live in a lovely neighborhood in Philadelphia that’s full of young families, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of parks nearby where people gather for picnics, walks, and outdoor activities, especially in the spring and summer. There are a ton of local museums that offer exhibits focused on the arts and sciences, providing educational and fun experiences for all ages. My household is already filled with love in the form of the affection shared between me and my five cats. They are the best little crew ever. All of them are rescues and have come into my life at various points over the past ten years. They are snuggly, loving, and, at times, a bit rambunctious, but I couldn’t imagine my life without them.

My Extended Family

I have a wonderful family, including my younger brother, mom, dad, stepmother, and stepbrother. I am close to each of them and enjoy every opportunity to have a shared experience. My brother and I are very close, always looking out for each other and having each other’s backs. I am the typical big sister and have so enjoyed watching him grow over the years. My mom and I share a love of animals and movies. Whenever I spend time with her, we are bound to end up surrounded by her crew of pets while watching a great film. My dad, stepmother, and stepbrother all love the beach, just like me. Our visits together are often centered around finding a new sunny location to explore while enjoying each other's company. While I don’t have a large extended family, our little circle feels just right, and the traditions we’ve created, like celebrating holidays together with home-cooked meals and going on family vacations, really make it special.

What Led Me To Adoption

As someone who was adopted, the opportunity to adopt is deeply meaningful to me. It feels like a way to pay forward the love, stability, and opportunities I received from my adoptive family. I view adoption as an opportunity to offer a child the same warmth, security, and care that shaped my own life. What excites me most is the chance to create a bond grounded in unconditional love and understanding and to build a family that’s about choice, connection, and growth. I want to offer a child not just a home but a lifelong sense of belonging and the knowledge that family is about who chooses you and how you choose each other.
