Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you, and we wish you many blessings. The difficult decision you are considering, to allow us to raise your child, is huge. Although we can never truly understand your feelings or understand exactly how hard this may be for you, we can assure you we are truly grateful. We have both wanted to be loving parents for awhile now, and you are now a part of the blessing that we have both prayed for.
We would also like to assure you we will always protect, love, and honor your baby tremendously. We promise you that we will always be there for and support your baby through anything life throws our way. We promise to keep your baby informed as to who you are (if you are okay with it), and teach your baby about both sides of his or her culture. We both attended college, so a college fund will start immediately.
We both come from loving, hardworking families, and none of us are perfect. While we cannot promise perfection, we can promise to provide your baby with a safe and loving environment. We can also promise that your child will be surrounded with support, love, kindness, nurturing, discipline, education, fun, opportunity, encouragement, stability, hugs, and plenty of kisses.
Michelle has worked as a Document Control Manager for over 12 years, and Samantha has worked as an Aseptic Processing Technician for nearly 14 years. As a couple, we love to laugh, so comedies are our thing. We also love trying new things: foods, events, lounges, musicians. We love traveling and cannot wait for the baby to be old enough to travel with us. We love movies, too, and we’re at the local theater at least three or four times a month; we even take the nephews whenever there is a kid-friendly movie for them to see. Otherwise, we’re both children at heart, so we love bowling, arcades, shooting pool, amusement/water parks, and zoos. We are both very romantic and will often surprise each other with love notes, flowers, edible arrangements, or spa dates.
Our favorite room in the house is the loft we use as a theater room. The backyard is great for family gatherings and barbeques (we usually host a couple each year). We have a cute little yorkie named Holiday, who we we adore. She loves to play with our nephews whenever they visit, so we know Holiday will love your baby just as much as we will. Sometimes, we walk to the nearby parks with Holiday or to enjoy the local food truck events and water park. Our neighborhood is very quiet and kid friendly. You will often see kids playing basketball riding their bikes and just being kids. When the weather permits, we like to sit on the porch with the dog and watch the kids play.
Our Extended Family
Sunday dinner is Samantha’s favorite family tradition. We usually have Sunday dinners potluck-style at Michelle’s father’s house. Our brothers and sister each bring a dish for us to share. This tradition would present more opportunities for our family to bond with the baby.
Michelle loves to host our family Christmas party, where we all decorate the Christmas tree, exchange gifts, play games, eat, and enjoy each other’s company. We like to host it a couple of weeks before Christmas so we can see the relatives that we don’t get to see on Christmas Day. It’s also a good way to start getting into the holiday spirit!
Both of our mothers are very excited and can’t wait for us to grow our family. Michelle’s grandmother is also excited to meet the bundle of joy. Our sister and all of our brothers are eager to be auntie and uncles.
What Led Us To Adoption
Once we made the decision to grow our family we knew we wanted to raise a baby. We tried several inseminations over the years that were unsuccessful. Once we concluded that carrying a baby to term wasn’t in the plans for us, we decided adoption was the way we were meant to blossom as a family. Plus, we know there are tons of babies and mothers out there who need the love we have in our hearts.
